Yeah I joined DA shortly after if started up. It's grown so huge since then - in a way I miss the DA of days gone by. Your art was not buried so quickly by other submissions and you got a lot more good critiques rather than "wow!" or "ooo!". It was more of an artist's DA back then. Now it's a bit more of just somewhere to post pictures haha. And there is a lot more garbage you have to sift through to find the good stuff

I've almost left a couple times, but there is still a bunch of really great artists that I watch so I keep sticking around!

_{I can see it somehow even I only a few years around here... There's numerous reasons make people leave Devart, and they keep leaving in the time I've just aware of it. I read though some of their last journals and a lot of thing happens in dA time from time make it less artist and more random fanart/online-images-board... Not totally correct but some part sounds right. That's why I say it's rare to see someone like you (stay here from beginning without becomeing something like Senior user or smilar but still submit artworks and enjoy others)...}
